Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Some 2.55 trillion soums were allocated for the Obod Qishlok and Obod Mahalla programs.
The social and industrial infrastructure of 7,794 villages and makhallas was developed in 2021.
- total sources amount to 14 trillion 776 billion soums, of which 2 trillion 547 billion soums were allocated for the Obod Qishlok and Obod mahalla programs;
- 5 788 km of drinking water and sewerage networks were built and reconstructed;
- asphalt and gravel were laid on 10,243 km of internal roads;
- in order to improve power supply, 1 trillion 266 billion soums were spent, including 299 billion soums for 3,506 transformers, 967 billion soums for the reconstruction and repair of 13,304 km of networks;
- in order to improve the supply of natural gas, 46.8 billion soums were spent, including 2,110 gas cylinders worth 2.5 billion soums, 9,139 cylinders with liquefied gas worth 2.9 billion soums were updated and repaired and 759 km of networks for 41.4 billion soums;
- 1,683 km of irrigation and drainage networks were improved;
- construction, repair and reconstruction of 801 secondary schools was carried out;
- construction, repair and reconstruction of 478 preschool educational institutions was carried out;
- construction, repair and reconstruction of 262 healthcare facilities was carried out;
- construction, repair and reconstruction of 30 other social facilities was carried out;
- repaired individual residential buildings for more than 49.7 thousand residents;
- 1,091 high-rise buildings were repaired, the sides were improved;
- 1,427 market infrastructure objects were repaired and rebuilt.
