Some 22,147 passenger cars sold in Uzbekistan in January 2025

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In January 2025, a total of 22,147 passenger cars were sold in Uzbekistan, according to Uzavtosanoat.

The market leader was UzAuto Motors, which sold 12,525 vehicles, accounting for 56.5% of total sales.

In second place was Khorezm Auto, with 4,643 units sold, representing 21% of all transactions.

ADM Jizzakh ranked third, selling 3,165 vehicles, which made up 14.3% of the market.

The BYD Uzbekistan Factory recorded 1,663 sales, contributing 7.5% to the total.

Other manufacturers, including Asaka Motors, SamAuto, and Jizzakh Auto, sold 105, 28, and 18 cars, respectively, collectively accounting for less than 1% of the market.

In terms of brand performance, Chevrolet remained the undisputed leader, with 17,168 cars sold.

KIA followed in second place with 2,007 units, while BYD secured third place with 1,663 vehicles sold.

Other brands in the rankings included Chery (599), Haval (559), Hyundai (80), Isuzu D-Max (28), and Jetta (18).

Among individual models, the Chevrolet Cobalt was the best-selling car in January, with 9,227 units sold.

The Chevrolet Damas took second place with 3,755 sales, while the Chevrolet Tracker ranked third with 1,810 units sold.

The top 10 most in-demand models also included: KIA Sonet (1,439 units), Chevrolet Onix (1,143), Chevrolet Labo (888), BYD Song Plus Champion DMI (600), BYD Chazor (502), BYD Song Plus DMI (300), and Haval M6 (288).
