Solfy and Investor Maksim Poletaev Enter Legal Dispute with National Bank of Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The fintech platform Solfy and its main investor, entrepreneur Maksim Poletaev, have entered into a legal dispute with the National Bank of Uzbekistan (NBU).
According to Amsterdam & Partners LLP, the firm will represent the interests of Solfy and Poletaev at all stages of the contractual dispute with the NBU.
The law firm noted that following the termination of business relations with the bank, the parties faced serious threats from NBU representatives, prompting them to seek international legal protection.
Robert Amsterdam, founder and managing partner of Amsterdam & Partners LLP, a lawyer with extensive experience in CIS countries including Uzbekistan, has been engaged as an international advisor.
He will work alongside a local team of lawyers in Tashkent to ensure comprehensive management of the dispute.
