Sodiq Adbullayev appointed as Tashkent region’s governor

President of Uzbekistan Islam Karimov participated in the session of the regional Council of People’s Deputies.

At the session, Ahmadjon Usmanov has been released from his duties of governor of Tashkent region. Sodiq Adbullayev has been appointed as the governor of Tashkent region.

Prior to appointment Adbullayev worked as the governor of Zangiata district.

Uzbek President Islam Karimov issued a decree to appoint Sodiq Adbullayev the governor of Tashkent region on 4 February, relieving Ahmadjon Usmanov of the post.
