Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 August 2022, First Deputy Chairman of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sodik Safoev met with members of a delegation led by Chairman of the Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea on Construction and Transport Kim Dukwan, who arrived in our country with a visit.

During the meeting, the current state and prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Korea were discussed, in particular, issues of strengthening inter-parliamentary ties.

During the conversation, attention was also paid to the development of cooperation in the field of construction. In particular, an exchange of views took place on new joint projects in this direction and issues of improving the infrastructure of the cities of the republic.

At the meeting, it was noted that the further expansion of inter-parliamentary relations between the two countries serves the cause of strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between Uzbekistan and Korea.
