Social protection for participants in criminal proceedings to be guaranteed
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In accordance with Cabinet of Ministers Resolution No. 103 from 21 February 2025, the Regulation "On the Procedure for Providing Social Protection to Victims, Witnesses, and Other Participants in Criminal Proceedings" has been approved.
The document establishes procedures for granting and disbursing a one-time allowance aimed at supporting the social protection of victims, witnesses, and other individuals involved in criminal proceedings.
The National Agency for Social Protection has been designated as the responsible body for implementing social protection measures.
The grounds for providing social support measures to participants in criminal proceedings include:
Property damage;
Death;
Bodily injury resulting in disability or other harm to health;
Bodily injury not leading to disability or other harm to health;
Property damage.
