Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As a result of an explosion at a warehouse of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan in Syrdarya region, 16 people were injured.

Today, on 22 October at 04:55, an explosion occurred at the warehouse of the Ministry of Defense in the village of Malik, Syrdarya region.

According to the Ministry of Health, at 05:01 an explosion was reported to the district emergency department.

After that, 12 out of 16 citizens who suffered as a result of this incident were taken to the medical association of Syrdarya region. All the victims were given first aid.

In particular, 7 patients received outpatient care, and 4 patients were placed under inpatient care at the Syrdarya branch of the Republican Emergency Medical Center.

The Ministry of Health notes that among the victims there are no seriously wounded and patients in critical condition.
