Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 18 August at 14:30, one of the methane cylinders exploded in an Isuzu bus while leaving a gas filling station in Akaltyn district of Syrdarya region. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan.

According to preliminary information, as a result of the incident, 6 people died on the spot, 15 people were injured.

A working group headed by the leadership of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Uzbekistan arrived at the scene of the incident.

In addition, the regional and district emergency departments, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Health, and prosecutors are conducting a preliminary investigation into the incident.
