Sirdaryo Region Delegation Showcases Regional Investment Potential in Seoul

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From 19 to 21 January, a delegation from Sirdaryo Region, led by Governor Erkinjon Turdimov, conducted a working visit to the Republic of Korea, participating in the business forum “Invest in Sirdaryo.”

During the visit, meetings were held with representatives of leading Korean companies, including 3H Korea, Tubestar Co, Arizon, Sysmate, Happy LNB, Gem Nanotechnology, OTTO, Filmax AMP, and Toytron Co, as well as with the Korean Association of Online Import and Export.

Discussions focused on joint projects in Sirdaryo Region, the development of investment cooperation, and collaboration in manufacturing and innovation sectors.

The delegation visited Sun Moon University to explore the possibility of opening a branch of the university in the city of Gulistan. The visit also included meetings with business leaders, major companies, and educational institutions.

Participants discussed prospects for implementing joint projects in industry, agriculture, innovation, and education. The Korean side was presented with the investment potential of Sirdaryo Region, as well as the favorable conditions created in the region for doing business.

The event served as an important platform to strengthen economic and educational ties between Sirdaryo Region and South Korean partners, aimed at attracting investments and implementing long-term joint projects.
