Shoygu hands over copy of Victory Flag to Uzbek Defense Minister
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan Kabul Berdiev received a copy of the Flag of Victory of the World War II.
Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoygu handed over the flag to the Uzbek minister in Moscow, the Russian Defense Minister said.
Shoygu said that the Flag of Victory is passed to the Minister of Defense of Uzbekistan in recognition of the great contribution of the Uzbek people in the defeat of Nazi Germany ..
He added that the flag is a symbol of valor and glory.
