Sherzodkhon Kudrathodja Relieved from Post as Head of Uzbekistan’s National Media Association

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Sherzodkhon Kudrathodja has been relieved of his duties as Chairman of the Board of the National Media Association of Uzbekistan, the organization’s press service reported.

The statement expressed gratitude for his effective work in developing the country’s media sector, strengthening principles of openness and transparency, and contributing to the protection of freedom of speech.

Odiljon Tojiev, a member of the Committee on Labor, Health, and Social Affairs of the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, has been appointed as the new Chairman of the Board.
