Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 February 2021, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Asadov met with the United Nations Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs Miroslav Jenča via video conferencing.

During the meeting, the state and prospects of interaction between Uzbekistan and the UN were discussed.

The practical aspects of the implementation of the initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, voiced during the 75th session of the UN General Assembly, as well as the implementation of the "Roadmap" to develop cooperation with the Organization were considered.

The parties also exchanged views on selected international and regional issues related to the development of transport and logistics, technological and innovative interconnection.
