Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Educational institutions of a completely new type have been created in our country - Presidential schools. This year, such a school was opened in the city of Karshi.

During his trip to Kashkadarya region, the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with this educational institution.

The school building for 168 places and the dormitory were built according to the standards set for the Presidential Schools. The most modern conditions have been created in subject classes, laboratories, gyms.

This year, more than 10 thousand students applied for admission to the school, 144 of them passed the competition. The educational process is conducted in English according to plans and programs developed on the basis of the experience of developed countries. Highly qualified teachers have been attracted, including 10 foreign specialists. A teacher's hotel with 15 beds was also built.

President Shavkat Mirziyoyev spoke with students.

Make the most of your time, these are the conditions. Today's success is history. Learn more, do not stop learning new things. In the future, you will become worthy children of the new Uzbekistan. I believe in this, said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

It was pointed out the need to establish an exchange of experience between the Presidential School and other schools of the region, to update the methodology of teaching the exact sciences on this basis.
