Shavkat Mirziyoyev visits Imam Bukhari Mausoleum

Uzbek leader familiarized himself with the project on construction of international scientific-research center of Imam Bukhari.

The Center will study scientific and spiritual heritage of Imam Bukhari, other scholars and thinkers, publish their works, etc.

The project on construction of the center was developed and land was allocated near Imam Bukhari complex, UzA reported.

Uzbek leader underlined that the premises of the building should demonstrate spirit, spiritual power and potential of our Great ancestors. He proposed to name each room after concrete scholar.

President also talked with scholars and ulems on organizing of the work of the center and studying Koran.

It was noted that it is necessary to revive ancient status of Mir Arab madrasah in Bukhara. Necessary orders were given on its reconstruction and equipment with modern technologies.

The project on reconstruction of trade and service points, located near Imam Bukhari complex, was presented. It will provide additional convenience to pilgrims.

Uzbek President ordered to construct modern two-storey modern houses and social objects along the road from Mahdumi Azam pilgrimage site till Imam Bukhari complex.
