Shavkat Mirziyoyev Visits Automotive Engineering School in Jizzakh

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev visited the School of Automotive Engineering at Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, where he familiarized himself with the students’ educational programs and practical training.

The school collaborates with BYD Uzbekistan Factory and ADM Jizzakh, preparing specialists for the automotive industry. Its educational programs include dual training, hands-on practice on factory platforms, a mini-assembly line for vehicle production, as well as courses on electric vehicles, charging stations, and engineering analysis.

Students receive training in four areas of the transport sector, including technical and analytical product comparisons, cost modeling, and production process optimization. Graduates are awarded certificates that facilitate employment at industrial enterprises.

The President spoke with students and regional leaders, emphasizing the importance of leveraging Jizzakh’s potential to create quality jobs and high-paying opportunities for young people.
