Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Take Part in the General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Today, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev will take part in the 46th General Assembly of the Olympic Council of Asia, one of the key international platforms for discussing current issues related to the development of the Olympic movement in the Asian region.

As part of the event, the head of state is expected to deliver a keynote address outlining Uzbekistan’s priorities in state policy on physical culture and sports, as well as the country’s approach to expanding international sports cooperation.

In addition, the President will hold a series of bilateral meetings with the leadership of the Olympic Council of Asia and representatives of leading international sports organizations.

The meetings are expected to focus on prospects for strengthening cooperation, implementing joint initiatives, and supporting the development of sports and Olympic values in Uzbekistan and across the region.
