Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev said that the volume of construction of new residential areas will increase by 1.5 times and reach 90,000 apartments.

At the same time, mortgage lending on a preferential basis, which began two years ago, will be continued, he added.

Along with this, a new mortgage program “My First Home” will be launched in the Tashkent region next year, the President said.

In accordance with it, housing will be built primarily for young families in need of it on the most favorable terms.
