Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev signed the Law "On ratification of the Treaty on the structure and principles of activity of TURKSOY" (Alma-Ata, on 12 July 1993).
According to the Law, the Treaty on the Structure and Principles of Functioning of TURKSOY was ratified.
The international organization TURKSOY was established in 1993 as a result of an agreement between Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Turkiye.
The main task of the organization is to promote spiritual rapprochement and strengthening the fraternal unity of the Turkic peoples, in presenting the Turkic culture in the world and transmitting its traditions to future generations.
