Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev today received a US delegation consisting of Congressmen Trent Kelly and Darin Lahoud.

Issues of further development of the Uzbek-American relations of strategic partnership and expansion of multifaceted cooperation were considered.

Special attention was paid to the continuation of active inter-parliamentary exchanges and practical interaction with the states of Mississippi and Illinois, which are represented by congressmen.
