Shavkat Mirziyoyev proposes to establish a joint production of BELAZ vehicles in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at negotiations with President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, proposed establishing a joint production of BELAZ vehicles in Uzbekistan, BELTA correspondent reports.

"We are open. We do not have such a confidential, frank conversation with all countries. We talked for more than two hours (in a narrow format - BELTA note). Much depends on you. Now nothing bothers us. We are very serious about expanding the mining and metallurgical industry. We need BELAZ, we need a joint venture. Why don’t we jointly produce these BELAZ vehicles,” said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
