Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev has extended condolences to Chinese President Xi Jinping following a tragic incident on 4 May in Guizhou Province, where a sudden storm capsized four tourist boats.

The head of state expressed deep sympathy and support to the families of the victims and wished a swift recovery to those injured.

According to Xinhua News Agency, 84 people were aboard the boats at the time of the accident. Ten people lost their lives, and over 70 were hospitalized.
