Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev held a meeting with activists of Uchtepa district of Tashkent. The head of state touched upon the work carried out by khokims and the requirements for them.

“Khokim must love people from the bottom of his heart, he cannot work in any other way. I worked as a khokim of the Mirzo-Ulugbek region in a very difficult time. Then no one came up to me and asked: “Are there any problems?” There was simply no one to ask."

The khokim must work hard. The policy pursued by the state is visible in the work of the khokim,” said Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
