Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Seven sixteen-story houses are being built in the Navo makhalla of the city of Karshi. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev got acquainted with this residential area.

A total of 39 multi-storey buildings are planned to be built on the array, the project will be implemented in five stages.

At the first stage, 3 houses were erected. Particular attention is paid to compliance with modern seismological and architectural requirements. High quality energy saving materials were used. Each apartment has its own water heater.

The head of state drew attention to the construction technology and the quality of houses. Gave additional instructions on ensuring fire safety, qualified utilities.

The territory around the houses is landscaped, a playground is organized. Another 4 multi-storey buildings are planned to be commissioned in March next year.

In addition, a school for 1680 children, 2 kindergartens, a clinic, a supermarket, sports grounds, a park and other facilities will be built.

There was also a presentation of measures for the construction and repair of roads, modernization of heating networks, drinking water supply and sewerage in Karshi.
