Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, new heads of committees and agencies have been appointed by a Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

- Akmalkhuja Mavlonov was approved as the Chairman of the Customs Committee under the Ministry of Economy and Finance of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

- Bahromjon Norkobilov was appointed as the Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry under the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

- Nizomidin Bakirov was appointed as as director of the Forestry Agency under the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

- Bakhtiyor Gulyamov was appointed as Head of the Inspectorate for Mining, Geological and Industrial Safety under the Ministry of Mining and Geology of the Republic of Uzbekistan;

- Shahrukh Sharakhmetov was appointed as Chairman of the Committee for the Development of Competition and Protection of Consumer Rights;

- Sodik Toshboev was appointed as Chairman of the Committee for Religious Affairs;

- Bakhodir Begalov was appointed as Director of the Statistics Agency under the President;

- Abdushukur Sadikov was appointed as Director of the National Anti-Doping Agency;

- Olim Narzullaev was appointed as Director of the Information and Analytical Center for Drug Control.
