Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov hold phone talks

Two leaders of the countries discussed implementation of reached agreements and signed documents within the state visit of the President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev to Turkmenistan on 6-7 March 2017.

Presidents underlined intensification of bilateral contacts at high level in political, trade-economic, transport-communication and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Currently, full-scale implementation of trade contracts and joint cooperation projects in the agro-industrial complex, repair and modernization of railway trains and other industries is underway.

Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov underlined importance of further boosting cooperation to ensure timely realization of joint programmes and projects of cooperation, first of all in economic sphere.

Presidents of the two countries exchanged views on topical issues of the regional and international agenda, and agreed on a schedule of forthcoming joint events for the near future.
