Share of commercial banks in UZSE turnover makes up 95.6%

Share of commercial banks in total turnover of Uzbekistan Stock Exchange (UZSE) made up 95.6% or 52.3 billion soums in the first quarter of 2015, head of information-analytical department of the UZSE Uktam Ochilov said.
The figure made up 80.7% or 10.1 billion in the same period of 2014. The figure rose almost twice compared to 2010 figures (49%) in last five years, he said.
He said that legal entities and individuals are investing their money to banks. He noted that 93.4% of investments of individuals and 86.3% of investments of legal entities were directed to shares of the banks at the exchange.
