Shanghai University to open Uzbek language Department

The report said that Confucius Institutes were opened in 2005 in Tashkent and in 2014 in Samarkand, where hundreds of students are trained each year.

Since 2013, Shanghai Research Center of Uzbekistan of educational exchanges operates in Shanghai on the basis of scientific research institute of public diplomacy of the SCO at Shanghai University.

“In the autumn of 2015, Department of the Uzbek language will be opened at the Shanghai International Studies University,” SHISU informed.
