Shanghai Electric Aims to Expand Cooperation with Uzbekistan in the Energy Sector

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 20 October, a meeting took place at National Electric Networks of Uzbekistan (NESU) with a delegation from the Chinese company Shanghai Electric Group Co., Ltd., led by Chairman Wu Lei.

During the discussions, both sides highlighted the positive progress in energy sector cooperation, reviewed promising areas for partnership, and expressed their readiness to further develop collaboration.

Special attention was given to joint projects focused on modernization and digitalization of electric networks, as well as the implementation of renewable energy technologies.
