Shakhrisabz Airport to close for repairs from 13 to 25 March

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Shakhrisabz Airport will temporarily suspend operations from 13 to 25 March 2025.

According to the Ministry of Transport, starting at 5:00 AM Tashkent time on 13 March 2025, the airport will be closed for a technical break due to major repairs of the runway. The work is expected to last until 5:00 AM on 25 March.

Once the runway modernization is complete, the airport will be able to accommodate modern medium-haul aircraft such as the ATR-72, with the frequency of flights increasing to three per week.
