Several Projects with Korean Investment to Be Implemented in Ferghana Region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Hokim of Ferghana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held a meeting with Korean investors who have already invested in the region’s economy, as well as with those planning to launch new joint projects with local partners.

During the meeting, investors presented a number of promising initiatives. In particular, the parties discussed projects on constructing a waste-to-energy power plant using Korean technologies, introducing modern construction solutions, organizing greenhouse film production, and developing agriculture and livestock sectors.

Special attention was given to plans for expanding the MGT Global garment factory in Margilan and boosting its export potential.

Khayrullo Bozorov emphasized that each of the proposed projects plays an important role in the socio-economic development of Ferghana Region and expressed full readiness to provide comprehensive support to investors.

The Hokim instructed responsible officials to ensure all necessary assistance and create favorable conditions for the successful implementation of the initiatives.
