Several districts of Tashkent city have no electricity

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Today, on 4 August, electricity was temporarily cut off in some residential buildings in the Shaykhontokhur, Yunusabad and Yashnabad districts of the city of Tashkent from 10:00 to 18:00.

This is done in order to ensure a high-quality and stable supply of electricity to consumers, as well as to prevent accidents that can occur in electrical networks, as well as to carry out safe repairs:

Yashnabad district: Shohsanam and Munavvar Kori streets;

Yunusabad district: Yunusabadskaya 18-quarter, Oktepa, Yangikhayot and Mirkhodzhaev streets;

Electricity was temporarily cut off in the homes of residents living in Shaykhantakhur district along Shofayiz, Chaman, Uygur, Ulugbek, Uysoz, Khushroy, Ziyosaid, Bekzod and Mukanno streets.

The reason is the replacement of old aluminum wires in low-voltage overhead power transmission networks with a capacity of 0.4 kV overhead lines with new modern SIP cable networks, as well as major repairs in transformer substations.

At the same time, the district power supply enterprises, which are under the jurisdiction of the JSC "Tashkent Electricity Grid Enterprise", are taking all necessary measures to complete the work as soon as possible.

All this is aimed at providing the population with uninterrupted and stable electricity.
