Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- In Samarkand region, another 17 people have fully recovered from coronavirus infection and another 17 people have gone for rehabilitation.

All recovered are from Samarkand region (5 of them from the city of Samarkand and the Taylak district, 2 from Akdarya and Payaryk districts, 1 from Pastdargom, Narpai and Samarkand districts) and they became infected as a result of contact with patients. Among them, 10 men and 7 women, the oldest of them is 52 years old, and the youngest is born in 2019.

If before that 52 patients were cured in the region, now the number of people who have recovered here has reached 69.

Today, up to this hour, 82 patients have been cured and sent for rehabilitation, and 1,738 people have completely recovered from coronavirus infection throughout the country.
