Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- As a result of an explosion of a military warehouse in Syrdarya region, 17 people were injured. This was announced by the press secretary of the President Sherzod Asadov.

According to him, 7 people are in medical institutions. All of them are soldiers. Citizens received the necessary medical care, and they were released home.

“Over the past 24 hours, more than 10,000 square meters of windows have been delivered to Syrdarya, in addition, almost all the roofs of residents and business representatives have been repaired,” Asadov said.

Sherzod Asadov noted that an investigation into the explosion at the warehouse is currently underway. The results of the investigation will be announced.
