Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Companies with unvaccinated workers will be sent to work remotely.
Earlier it became known about the decision of the special commission to combat Covid-19 to strengthen quarantine measures.
In particular, it was reported about the prosecution of the heads of organizations who allowed unvaccinated employees to work.
The work of such companies will not be suspended, Deputy Health Minister Anvar Alimov said during a press conference on Monday, 10 January.
By 15 January, all companies will be notified of the mandatory vaccination.
Organizations that have unvaccinated employees will be sent to work remotely.
Those institutions in which workers will receive the first vaccine in the next five days will be able to continue working as before, Alimov said.
He also added that those who are contraindicated for vaccination for health reasons will have to switch to remote work.
Penal measures will not be applied, the first deputy of the sanitary-epidemiological welfare and public health service Kholmamat Norboyev said.
Today the fines that were applied on the basis of 78 protocols have ceased to be in force. It was decided to conduct only a notification campaign in the near future. There are no penalties at the level of legislative acts. Our main task is to help maintain the peace and well-being of every citizen, he added.
We do not pursue goals in such a difficult time to aggravate the work of the business, he stressed.
A law allowing employers to prevent unvaccinated employees from working was passed in early August 2021.
