The Order was presented on behalf of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev during the regular meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CIS countries, held on 6 April 2018 in Minsk (Belarus).

Abdulaziz Kamilov read out the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan and presented a high award for his great services to Sergey Lebedev in strengthening and expanding all-round fruitful relations, friendly and good-neighborly interstate relations within the CIS, active participation in development and implementation of multilateral projects aimed at developing political, socio-economic and cultural and humanitarian cooperation, as well as long-term personal contribution to ensuring security and stability in the Commonwealth space.

Sergey Lebedev asked to convey his sincere gratitude and deep gratitude to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev for high evaluation of his activity as Chairman of the Executive Committee, the Executive Secretary of the CIS, and stressed that it is of particular importance for him to receive one of the highest state awards of Uzbekistan, the country where he was born and raised.
