Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A presidential resolution "On measures to further improve the system of public administration in the health sector" was adopted.

According to the resolution:

the post of the Deputy Minister of Healthcare - Head of the Main Department of Healthcare of Tashkent city was introduced.

the post of the Deputy Minister of Health - General Director of the Republican Scientific Center for Emergency Medical Aid was abolished.

In accordance with the regulation:

the Minister of Health of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the heads of the health departments of the regions are appointed and dismissed by the Minister of Health in coordination with the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan and the khokims of the regions, respectively;

heads of territorial medical institutions are appointed and dismissed, respectively, by the Minister of Health of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, heads of health departments of the regions and the head of the Main Department of Health of Tashkent in agreement with the Minister of Health and, accordingly, the Chairman of the Jokargy Kenes of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, khokims of regions and Tashkent city.

From 1 November 2020, employees of the central office of the Ministry of Health and territorial health authorities are paid a monthly bonus for length of service (in coefficients to the official salary, taking into account the incentive coefficient) in the following amounts:

• from 1 to 3 years - 0.3;

• from 3 years to 5 years - 0.6;

• from 5 to 10 years - 0.8;

• from 10 to 15 years old - 1;

• from 15 to 20 years - 1.2;

• over 20 years - 1.5.
