Senators consider protection of environment

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Committee on agriculture, water issues and ecology in cooperation with the State Committee of Uzbekistan on nature protection organized a roundtable titled “Issues of protection of environment and rational use of natural resources” in Tashkent on 28 July.

Senators, representatives of the State Nature Protection Committee, Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources, State Geology and Mineral Resources Committee, state bodies, scholars and others attended the event.

According to the press service of the Senate, the participants discussed use of resource saving technologies and ensure rational use of natural resources, stimulate interest of resource users in conducting nature protection policy with use of low-waste and resources saving technologies.

At the end of the seminar, the participants adopted corresponding recommendations.
