Senators approve law "On Public Procurement"

The document is aimed at ordering and further improving the norms of existing legislation acts.

According to the Senate press service, the provisions of the law enshrined regulations on state regulation of public procurement, identified subjects of government procurement, set general requirements for the process of public procurement.

A significant innovation is introduction of the procedure for purchasing through the electronic store, its work and use, as well as procurement through an auction, a tender, the activities of the purchasing commission. The law contains rules regulating the procurement of goods (works, services) from a single supplier.

In accordance with the norms of this law, the procedure for monitoring, public and state control of procurement procedures, as well as the mechanism for appealing, resolving disputes and disagreements is established.
