Senators approve amendments to some legislative acts

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- At the twelfth plenary meeting of the upper chamber of the Oliy Majlis, senators discussed the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan."

It was noted that the members of the Senate approved the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On regulatory legal acts". It defines the concept of normative legal acts, their types, the ratio of these documents, as well as the regulation of relations in the field of their planning, initiation, preparation, approval, adoption, announcement, and ensuring the organization of their implementation.

The main principles of the adopted Law are:

- what normative legal acts are by-laws;

- what are constitutional laws and codes;

- determination of the framework for regulation by bylaws, they specifically define legal norms providing for the responsibility of individuals and legal entities, as well as issues within the competence of economic management and corporate relations regulation bodies.

As a logical continuation of this Law, amendments are made to 5 constitutional laws, 294 laws and 1 resolution of the Oliy Majlis. Moreover, all these changes are the same in content and conceptual features.

It was noted that the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions of the chambers of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan are legislative acts. Decrees and decrees of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, decisions of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, orders and decisions of ministries, state committees and departments, decisions of local government bodies are by-laws.

Based on this, this Law introduces amendments related to the terms used in the field of lawmaking and legislation.

The introduction of these changes will make it possible to unify the concept of "legislation" in the state language in the national regulatory framework. In turn, various misunderstandings in regulatory legal acts are prevented.
