Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The eighteenth plenary meeting of the upper chamber of the Oliy Majlis continues its work. The information of the director of the Cadastral Agency under the State Tax Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the status of the implementation of legislative acts in this area was heard there.

Member of the Senate Farod Bakiyev expressed his opinion on this issue, drew attention to the problems and shortcomings that are encountered in the cadastral sphere.

“Since the establishment of the Cadastral Agency, an additional 354 thousand objects have been identified and additional funds in the amount of 468 billion soums have been transferred to the budget,” said Senator F. Bokiev. - On 403 thousand real estate objects on the ground, additional buildings were identified and the cadastral assessment was revised, an additional source for property tax in the amount of 99.9 billion soums was formed in the budget. In general, the Cadastral Agency currently provides 13 of 17 types of services in electronic form, without the human factor. This is good, of course.

However, in recent years in the cadastral sphere, corruption cases related to land have been occurring almost every day. 

It is worth noting that in 2020, 67 officials and employees, and within six months of 2021, 48 officials and employees of the Agency committed 70 crimes. As a result, the interests of the state and society suffered material damage in the amount of 1.8 billion soums. Whoever committed the crime will inevitably be punished, the damage will be compensated
