Senates of Uzbekistan and Malaysia Hold Online Meeting to Strengthen Interparliamentary Cooperation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Senate of Uzbekistan hosted an online session of the committees for cooperation with the upper house of the Malaysian Parliament.
During the meeting, participants discussed prospects for further developing the multifaceted partnership between the two countries, including the enhancement of interparliamentary ties.
It was noted that the active and open dialogue between the heads of state has elevated Uzbek-Malaysian relations to the level of a strategic partnership, with parliaments playing a key role in ensuring the timely and effective implementation of agreements reached at the highest level.
Participants highlighted the consistent expansion of cooperation across political, trade and economic, investment, educational, tourism, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
At the conclusion of the meeting, an agreement was reached to further intensify bilateral relations and continue interparliamentary dialogue.
