Senate to hold eighth plenary session

Council of Senate adopted a resolution on convocation of the eighth plenary session of Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan in Tashkent on 13 December 2016.

It is expected that Senators will consider state budget of Uzbekistan, budgets of state funds and main directions of tax and budget policy for 2017.

Senate will also consider the employment programme for 2017. Upper house of the parliament will also discuss laws “On combating corruption”, “On introduction of changes and amendments to some legislative acts of Uzbekistan in connection with adoption of the main directions of tax and budget policy for 2017”, etc.

Senate will also discuss other issues related to jurisdiction of the upper house of the Uzbek parliament.
