Senate to hold a plenary session on 20 October

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A meeting of the Kengash of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan was held. It was moderated by the Chairman of the Senate Tanzila Narbaeva.

The meeting adopted a resolution to convene the twentieth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan on 20 October 2021.

At the plenary session, which will be held in the form of videoconferencing, it is planned to consider a number of issues. Among them are the laws "On Social Entrepreneurship", "On Amendments to the Customs Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan", "On Amendments to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On the State Budget of the Republic of Uzbekistan for 2021", "On Amendments to the Law Of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On water and water use", "On amendments and amendments to some legislative acts of the Republic of Uzbekistan in connection with the improvement of the system of protection of the rights of persons suffering from drug addiction diseases", "On amendments to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On museums ".

In addition, it is planned to hear information from the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan on comprehensive support for orphans and children left without parental care, and improving the quality of medical and social services provided to children with disabilities, as well as information on the activities of the chairman of the board of the joint-stock company Uzkimyosanoat, the Minister of Housing and Communal Services on the state of maintenance of apartment buildings, including the activities of management companies.

At the same time, it is envisaged to discuss the results of parliamentary inquiries sent to the government on the state of roads and artificial structures in the country, as well as on the implementation of legislative acts to ensure the safe movement of vehicles, on measures taken to develop the sphere of donation of blood and its components and on the state of implementation. activities aimed at recovery and development of tourism after the coronavirus pandemic.

It is also planned to consider the issue of sending a parliamentary request to the Cabinet of Ministers on the work carried out in the Republic of Karakalpakstan on the use of solar and wind energy at the facilities of the economic sectors, the social sphere and in the residential premises of the population and other issues.
