Senate to consider “On exchanges and exchange activities” in new edition

The law is aimed at further improving regulation of commodity and financial exchanges, strengthening guarantees of exchange deals’ participants, ensuring participation of businesses in commodity and financial exchanges. The law was widely discussed with participation of MPs of lower house of parliament, ministries and departments, experts and businesses.

The law was developed taking into account experience of the USA, Great Britain, Germany, South Korea, Japan, China, Brazil and other countries in this area.

The law includes new norms on informing members about new deals at the exchanges, measures on improving execution of the deals, strengthening of liabilities of the exchange and clients, etc.

Adoption of the law in new edition will form single law enforcement practice in the system.

The document should develop financial sector and improve quality of market infrastructure, as well as improve macroeconomic growth tempo.
