Senate ratifies agreement on establishment of CAREC Institute

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan approved a law “On ratification of agreement on establishment of Institute of Central Asian Regional Economic Cooperation”.

The Governments of Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia, Pakistan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan signed the agreement.

The document was signed in Islamabad, Pakistan, on 26 October 2016.

The CAREC Institute provides knowledge and relevant training to all CAREC partners in support of effective regional cooperation and coordination, and promotes access to and application of international best practices in all CAREC initiatives.
