Senate of Uzbekistan to convene on 31 March

The Fifth Plenary Session of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan will be held in Tashkent on 31 March 2016.
On 9 March 2016, the Council of the Senate of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan held the session and adopted a resolution on the convocation of the fifth plenary session of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis on 31 March 2016 in Tashkent.
The plenary session of the Senate will consider a number of laws aimed at the consistent reforming and liberalization of all spheres of socio-political and socio-economic life of the country.
In particular, the Senators will consider such laws as “On parliamentary control”, “On Accounting” (new edition), on the introduction of amendments and additions to some legislative acts, reports of certain departments and institutions of the country, as well as the composition of the Senate Commission on the control over the activities of public prosecution bodies.
