Senate of Uzbekistan approves programme on creation of jobs
The programme was developed by the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan to carry out complex and related measures on employment of population through using potential of territories and industries of economy, rational use of labour resources based on demographic factors and structural reforms in economy, support of entrepreneurship initiatives of the citizens.
The programme envisages creation of 983,600 new jobs in Uzbekistan due to launching new large industrial enterprises, reconstruction and expansion of existing enterprises, social-economic development of the territories, developing construction of individual houses in rural areas, stimulating small, private and family businesses, etc.
It is also planned to provide jobs to about 500,000 graduates of professional colleges of Uzbekistan in 2014.
