Senate of Uzbekistan Appoints Alisher Usmanov as First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At its 10th plenary session, the Senate of the Oliy Majlis reviewed personnel changes within the Supreme Court, the press service of the upper chamber of parliament reported.

According to the Senate resolution, Alisher Usmanov has been elected First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court — Chairman of the Judicial Board — for a five-year term.

Ikram Muslimov, who had served as Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court and Chairman of the Judicial Board since September 2021, as well as Supreme Court Judge Nodira Khakimova, were relieved of their duties.
