Senate introduces changes to structure of Supreme Court

Senators released Shayunus Gaziev from the post of chairman of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan.

Senate elected Kozimjan Kamilov as the chairperson of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan for a five-year period and as a judge for indefinite period.

In connection with the new appointment, Kamilov was relieved of his duties as chairman of the Supreme Economic Court of Uzbekistan.

Fayzulla Abduazimov and Kuchkar Togayev were dismissed from the posts of deputy chairmen of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan.

Rakhimjon Obidov also left the post of deputy chairman of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan - chairman of the military collegium.

Senators elected Holmumin Yodgorov to the post of deputy chairman of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan - chairman of the judicial board for civil cases for an indefinite period of tenure. In this regard, he was dismissed from post of the judge of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan.

Bakhodir Dekhkanov was elected as the deputy chairman of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan - chairman of the judicial board for administrative cases for a period of five years. In this regard, he was dismissed from the post of deputy chairman of the Supreme Economic Court of Uzbekistan.

Bakhtiyor Isakov was elected as the Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Court of Uzbekistan - Chairman of the Judicial Board for Economic Affairs for a period of ten years. Isakov was dismissed from the post of first deputy chairman of the Supreme Economic Court of Uzbekistan.
