Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 4 April, Senate Chairperson Tanzila Narbaeva met with the Vice Speaker of the Swedish Parliament (Riksdag), Julia Kronlid.

During the meeting, the issues of deepening interparliamentary cooperation were discussed, and prospective directions for further collaboration between the two countries were outlined.

Special attention was given to expanding mutual visits, exchanging experiences in the field of legislation, and establishing closer ties between the relevant parliamentary committees.

As a result of the dialogue, the parties agreed to activate cooperation between parliamentary committees and local self-government bodies — the Kengashs.
